MEAN: A measure of central tendency
-The sum(adding) of a set of values divide by the number of values in the set
E.G 9,5,8,4,9
Step 1: re-order from least to greatest
4,5,8,9,9
Step 2: add up all the numbers
4+5+8+9+9= 35
Step 3: divide the sum of the numbers by the amount of numbers
35 divided by 5= 7
that means that the Mean is 7- A.K.A the average
A) 4+5+6+7+7+7+8+8+9+9=70
70 divided by 10=7
Mean:7 Mode:7 Median:7
B) 250+250+300+300+400=1,500
1,500 divided by 5= 300
Mean:300 Mode:250&300 Median: 7
