1/2 + 1/3=?
This is just like adding to fruits together
1 apple+ 1 orange= 2 fruits
To answer the question on top of the page we must find Common Denominator!
A multiple of the denominators of a set of Fractions.
Example: A common denominator for 1/4 and 1/6 is 12 because a common multiple of 4 and 6 is 12.
4- 4,8,12,16
6- 6,12,18,24
1/2 + 1/3
X2
3/6 + 2/6
You can also Cross Multiply!
1 - 4
_ X_ They should all be equal together
3 - 12Here is a link I found for you guys to learn more about adding fractions with unlike denominators
